Discovery Phase

Our first stage in website design is the discovery phase, we need to understand your operational goals, your customer profile and your competitors. Whether our discovery meeting is face to face or on the phone/over video we want to fully immerse ourselves in your business so we can design the right website experience for your customers. 

We start off by creating your new sitemap and the flow of your customer’s journeys on your website. Then through wireframe creation we can focus on what content is important on the page and define the structure. We will create a number of different wireframes for you to review. Prototyping

At the prototyping stage we will present your website designs to you as interactive content for review. Working from the wireframes created we will dress your site with typography, imagery, page layouts and illustration. Custom artwork and banners can all be designed, as well as exploring animation, loading techniques and fully mapping out the navigation to review user flow through your site. All of which you’ll be able to review to scale in real time via a shareable URL, showing you how your site will look once it’s built.

We primarily use WordPress as our CMS of choice – it’s intuitive, adaptable and flexible, whilst also providing a user friendly content management system. We aren’t just restricted to WordPress so if your project requires a different approach we can provide an alternative solution.

We develop custom themes and plugins, using HTML5 and CSS3. Through custom coding we reduce the limitations and restrictions you find with off the shelf themes, allowing us to create completely bespoke, beautifully designed and coded websites.

We can include a full audit of SEO current performance, which will highlight keywords to target with the new site. Or carry out keyword research for your industry and advise on keywords for pages.
